Baha’is are expected to raise their children as Baha’is – to give them training and Baha’i education aimed at giving them a Baha’i identity from a very early age. There is even a Baha’i prayer to whisper into the ears of infants. The one thing they don’t teach their children is how to be objective about doing an independent investigation of truth.
It is interesting to me that one of the basic principles of the Baha’i Faith is to do this independent investigation of truth, yet most Baha’i parents don’t think to encourage this in their children because as parents, they are emotionally invested in trying to get their children to sign a declaration card to become a Baha’i at age 15. If the kids don’t sign that card, the parents are devastated and feel themselves to be failures at their children’s Baha’i education and upbringing.
Last night I decided to try to record something about this, and it turned out better than I expected, so I made a video out of it.

Thank you for producing this video. Its good that you are making statements of ethical dilemnas you feel you need to express. I still maintain The Bahai Faith is a beautiful revolutionary improvement specifying a very comprehensive and complete “prescription for living” of [Universal ethical principles or what Mark Passio might call “natural law” over the vast majority of religions today especially fraud forms of Islamic dictatorships and fraud forms ofJudeo/Christianity/ or Church-ianity Insanity. I will continue to advocate and study Bahai principles and write the Bahai’s own Universal House of Justice on Mount Carmel about common goals to restore and promote the traditional nuclear family of 1 man and 1 woman as consensual adults (husband and wife) and completely annihilate all the perversions of creeping gender estrangement and the slippery slope lies of “born that way” lgbtq off the face of the earth and would gladly be part of a Christian group that sees me as a Spiritual seeker and admires Jesus Christ too.
